No Buts, It's Got to be Butter!

Oh no, poor Mrs Jones forgot to buy butter for our snack this week.

How can we solve this problem? 

The children said, 'Let's make our own.'

So we did!

We put some thick cream in a container and we had to shake, shake, shake. It was hard work.

We ate it spread on our sandwiches. It was delicious! What a lovely picnic.

We've been so busy this week, we made pastry to make our own vegetable pasties.

It's been a busy week cooking outside too.  

Look at this wonderful construction we're making, working hard as a team.

Forest Schools was fun. We collected lots of natural materials to make crowns and made our own paintbrushes using twigs and grass.

Some of us collected mud and made our own funny face mud sculptures.

It was messy but lots of fun!
